How many children have to be shot and killed before you act
to protect them? How many funerals do you have to attend before it sinks into
your head that only you can prevent this from happening again?
Gun violence has been all too common in Harrisburg in recent years. abc27 spoke with an undercover vice agent who talks about where illegal guns are coming from and how the city's violence is fueled.

Vice agent: city's gun problem starts with county drug problem
You have a cancer in your community and it is growing. You
pray for an answer to your problem so here is your answer. Get off your wide
behind and do something about it. Here is Operation Cancer Surgery. If you are
not part of the problem then be part of the solution.
It was an emotional night for the family and friends of Tiana Dockens, 18, as community group, Heeding God’s Call organized a vigil Tuesday evening to remember the young shooting victim. Click on the link to see the Fox 43 story. This can be a person in your family.
The clergy (Black, White, Hispanic, Christian,
Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, and others)
Post a message to all the members of your church telling
them to act. Your message should look something like this;
Dear Members of the
Community;
It is time we stop the violence in our community. We are the
only people that can stop it. This is what we must do before April 1, 2014.
You must talk to your children, friends, and family about
stopping the violence. You must take charge of your home by going through your
children’s room, belongings, and clothing. You are looking for drugs, guns, and
anything else that would be considered illegal. You must take these things away
from them or if they do not cooperate, turn them into the police.
After April 1, 2014, the Cancer Surgery Committee will be
sending out letters to homes that are still a problem in the community. Top
priority will be the families that cause pain and suffering to others in the
neighborhood. These criminals are also the people who have strange characters
running in and out of the house at all hours of the day and night. We all know
what is going on in such places. We all
know who they are. These people will be asked to move out of the City within 30
days. If they do not move, they will be forced to move by” any means necessary.

post the following letter at your door and in other places in your business
establishment.

The people
It is up to each of you to police your own homes. Don’t take
the attitude that “my Johnny or Susie” will never do anything harmful to
others. You better search and act if necessary before others do it for you and
your family.
The second thing the people are going to have to do is
create your local Cancer Surgery Committees. This is not the time to be cowards
and hide. If some of you can go to other countries and fight for the rich and
the multinational corporations, you can do something to defend your own
neighborhood. It will be up to you to
send letters out to these families who still believe that shooting, killing,
and hurting people is a joke. You telling them to leave. It will also be up to
you to do whatever is necessary to make them leave.

Conclusion
Operation Cancer Surgery is for you and your family. You
have a decision to make. Either you learn to live with the possibility of
member of your family being gun down or you can do something to illuminate the
evil cancer in your community. Sometime
the answer to your prayers may take some brave actions on your part. You can be the part of the solution or you
can be part of the problem. The choice is yours!
