You Brought it on Yourself!

This is a Video Game of war strategy.
Over 1,500,000 people on Facebook played this game.

All I hear now in the news is about the 28 people who died in Sandy Hook
Elementary School after an alleged mentally ill person turned on a school full
of innocent young children, killing as many as he could before killing himself.

No one thinks it more terrible than I do. But knowing how society works, in
about 6 months, the country will be on some other shocking development. Nothing
will be done to stop such a shocking event from happening again.

Yea, we may get some new gun law out of this. But that will not stop people from
shooting into a school full of 6 year old children. They may lock some more
people up that someone deemed crazy but that will not stop the people who are
deemed sane from blowing up a school next time and picking off children as they
run out of the school.

In other words, society will attack the symptoms instead of the problem. The
problem is not the guns or the mentally ill. The problem is how we raise
children and treat people. This is something that we just are not going to talk
about because we will have to do something and people may not make as much
money.

The Shooter in Newtown

You don’t have to be a Christian to know that some Biblical principles work in
society.

Have you ever heard, “You reap what you sow.”

I invest in many corporations all over this country. I can make money investing
in companies that make up the Military Industrial Complex. But I will not invest
in weapon manufacturing companies. If you invest in weaponry design to kill
massive amounts of people, you are sowing the seeds of mass murder in future
years. The reason why is because you reap what you sow.

The pension fund of the teachers working in the rich exclusive Sandy Hook School
System invested in gun manufacturers.  Now that some of these guns killed some
of the teachers who had their money in these companies, the pension fund wants
to divest itself of these companies.  They sow the investment seeds that
produced the gun and bullets. Some man took the guns produced and from that you
know what was reaped.

That brings up another spiritual law, “You live by the sword and you die by the
sword.”

The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the second most powerful gun lobby,
headquartered In Newtown, Connecticut.  They are just across the highway from
Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. It is a stately white
building with an American flag flying out front. They are the headquarters of
the United States’ premiere industry association for gun retailers. You don’t
think that this association has any influence in Newtown?

This country lives on war and selling of arms. Thank you for serving to keep us
free. People have been serving this country from the removing of the 5 civilized
Indian Nations in the Eastern Southern States around 1820 to the invasion of
Iraq and Afghanistan in the 21st Century. We have been raising a bunch of
killers for 300 years. We have been living by the wishes of the Military
Industrial complex. Now the people in this nation are afraid of anyone who
disagrees with what we do or how we do it. You are missing building in New York
City and most of us have no idea how that happened. So after living by the
sword, why do you think you would not die by such?

Another law that you may not have heard of, “Faith comes by hearing.”

I know so much about investments because I have been learning about them for
over 50 years. So I built up faith over these 50 years to use what I learned.
That is positive faith.

Have you watched what your children are watching on TV, on the Internet, and on
their video games? They are seeing and hearing how to mass murder people in the
name of righteousness. In the mind of any person, what they think is right is
right according to what they believe. If they have been hearing how to kill
people for 15 to 30 years, don’t you think that they built up faith to do such a
thing? They may not be crazy. They may be educated to take out as many people as
they can. That is negative faith. That is because faith comes by hearing.

Nostradamus was right when he said that in the future, no man, woman, or child
will be safe in this world. In order to stop people from killing men, women, and
children, every man, woman, and child will have to learn how to treat people
like they would want to be treated. The failure to do that is why we have mass
killings like Sandy Hook Elementary School. This is something that we do not
want to learn how to do.   This is why such killings will go on.

How do you like the world that you help create?

Daniel Tulloch's Winter Indoor Track Meet Schedule

This is Daniel's first national trophy. He is the youngest out of a small group of people to receive this national trophy. This honor was given to such people as Hyleas Fountain, Staphanie (Williams) Tulloch, and Jennifer Harris.

We do not believe in giving Daniel an award just for showing up. Part of learning is to learn how to live with disappointment and failure. It is about learning what to do and how to do it so that he can achieve success. Failure is not permanent and success does not last forever. This is what separates a successful person in life and a failure.

Daniel started track and field;
  • Age 4, learning how to run and getting in shape.
  • Age 5, had his first indoor track meet in New Jersey. He started learning how to compete.
  • Age 6, Daniel learned how to pay attention and what it is like to run Cross Country.
  • Age 7, Daniel learned how to compete nationwide.

You can view and order pictures of Daniel from the USATF authorized ventor from the link above.

Now we are going into competing as an 8 year old. The USATF 2K Cross Country Series is behind us. It is time to focus on the UAGTCA Indoor Track Meets. Daniel will use these meets to stay in shape for the May 2013 UAGTCA Outdoor Meets in Philadelphia which will set the stage for his entry into USATF Outdoor Meets in June 2013. He hopes to go all the way this year to qualify for the USATF National Meet the week of July 22-28, 2013 in Greensboro, NC.

Daniel needs your financial support!

Daniel needs the financial help of his supporter if he is to continue to travel to national events.
This is what Daniel gave supporters that donated or sold more that $50.00 in candy toward his 2012 travel expenses to Albuquerque, New Mexico. People who gave or sold more than $100.00 received a shirt from that event.
People will receive the same gift with $50 or more at the Summer Outdoor National or the Fall XC National event this year in San Antonio, Texas on December 14, 2013. If supporters gives $100 or more, Daniel will give a gift of a shirt from that national event.

You can give your gift to Stephanie or Damine Tulloch or send it directly to the bank by making a check out to Darnell L Williams;

2012 USATF National Junior Olympic XC Ceremonies Albuquerque Convention Center

This is the beginning of the Cross Country Event on December 8, 2012.
But first on December 7, 2012 the USATF National Cross Country athletes will party.

The Native Americans and Mexican Americans of the state of New Mexico was showing off their culture. New Mexico has a large minority of Mexican American and Native American people. The Governor of New Mexico and the Mayor of Albuquerque actively support this event by speaking at it. To get to the convention center, people had to go through a traffic jam looking much like Pittsburgh on Steelers Football day. The Native American Nations have their own track and cross country teams and they actively compete in regional and national events.

The march of the national athletes started with the athletes from Region 16, that includes New Mexico. Hawaii, Nevada, San Diego, and Southern California is in this Region as well.

The march in this video starts with the athletes from Region 8, Iowa, Dakotas, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.

The march in this video starts with the athletes from Region 6, Alabama, Tennessee, and the rest of the southern states. Daniel is in this video, representing Region 2, upstate New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Eastern Ohio, and Northern West Virginia. Region 1 includes New York City, New England, Maine, Long Island, Connecticut, and the Adirondack area.

The Steelers and National Politics

Terry Gachupin and her husband came to support their son that is on their Native American Running Club Team.  Her son ran against Daniel. She is a member of three Native American Nations in the state. They invited me to come visit their reservation. I will as soon as I retire.

Now you know that I am not going to go over 2,000 mile and keep my mouth shut about the Steelers and politics. Native and Mexican Americans see my Steelers coat and hat and start talking to me about New Mexico is Steelers Country.

My  youngest daughter Amanda came home from school one day telling me that her teacher told her that she is not Native American. That made me pay a visit to CD High School. Someone had to teach these people what makes up a Native American. I am telling you this because I went to New Mexico to tell them who they are. I became friends with a Mexican American working for the City. I asked him what Native American is he. He told me that he is a Mexican and not Native American. So I had to proceed to tell him that before Mexico was Mexico, it was the home of the Aztec empire, Toltec, Zapotec, Mixtec, and the Purepecha.  I said that he did not look like his ancestors came from Spain to me.  Then he said, well I guess I am a Native American after all. I replied, yea, the American/Mexican boarder crossed you, you did not cross it!

The end keeper at the hotel was telling me that people think that she is Chinese. Well people tell me that about Amanda. The beautiful tall young end keeper is half Navajo Nation and half Gallina.

The Opening of the Cross Country Meet, Dec., 8, 2012

Stephanie wants a ride in a balloon. Daniel and I said go ahead but leave us behind.

Stephanie away!!!! Oh, you are still here?

Stephanie told Daniel to stand still for the National Anthem. Daniel said which one? In his family, he was born in the United States, has a mother born and raised in the United States, and he goes to school in the United States. However, his father is a Jamaican citizen and Daniel has an extended family in Jamaica. He is learning everything there is to know about Jamaica including the Jamaican National Anthem. So as a 7 year old, he wants to know which national anthem are they going to play?

It's Show Time Daniel!

Daniel is near the half mile mark. He is trying to move up among the 140 athletes in the 2k race.

Daniel breaks clear of the pack and becomes fixed to caught the next pack of runners near the three forth mile marker.

We came over 2,000 miles to watch Daniel run for 8 Minutes, 51.13 Seconds. We got the results.

We took a few pictures.

Now it is time to get out of here!

Then Stephanie gets this phone call telling us that we have to make it to the plane in one hour across town. If we do not make it, it will be 24 hours before we can leave to go home. I drove my fool butt off like I have not driven since my teenage years. But once at the Airport, we still had to get through a long line at the FSA (Federal Security Administration). I got in line then next thing I know, Stephanie is talking to the FSA and we were given special treatment through security. We ran through the Airport like the old days of OJ Simpson and just made it to the plane.

When we came to Albuquerque, NM, we came with a plane full of Children. The plane was packed. Going home, these people must not have known that their plane flight was canceled and that means they could not leave until the afternoon of Dec. 9, 2012. How did Stephanie know to run to the airport? Do you recall that I told you that she has all the latest Apps on her latest Cell Phone? She stayed in constant communications with the Airline and every one else dealing with our trip.  It is nice to have a daughter that is smarter than me!

We made it home!

You know what comes next, Daniel it is time to hit the treadmill, 10 MPH, for 5 Minutes for 5 times.

The National Albuquerque, New Mexico Meet

Daniel as he practiced running on the tread mill at 10 mph for 5 minutes (running continuous) each of 5 sessions per day. He does this 5 to 6 days a week.

On December, 8 2012 the Jamaican Flash ran in the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico representing the North East United States in the Sub-bantam  (7 and 8) Division. His time was 8 Minutes, 51.13 Seconds. He came in 58 out of 140 male athletes ages 7 and 8 from all over the United States. His average 1K time was 4 Minutes, 25.6 Seconds. He ran an average speed of 8.423361 Miles per hour for 1.24274 Miles. This is the Jamaican Flashes personal best.

The winner was Rheinhar Harrison, an 8 year old from Michigan with a time of  7 Minutes, 30.37 Seconds.

Here was Daniel's schedule in New Mexico.

Daniel's Well Wishers

Many of Daniel's well wishers sent their heart warm wishes of luck before the race and congratulations after the race. One such person sending the Flash words of luck on Face Book was 2008 Olympic Silver Medalist Hyleas Fountain. I coached Hyleas and prepared her for her first USATF National Championships, 20 year ago.

Opening Ceremonies
The Opening Ceremonies, theme was ‘A Taste of New Mexico’, held at the Albuquerque Convention Center on Friday, December 7, 2012. Athletes arrived by 4:15 p.m. so they could be staged to march into the venue, by Region, beginning at 4:45pm. Parents and spectators were treated to a special pre-show entertainment from 4:30 - 4:45pm. They were also given entertainment that included music and dance representing the state's unique Indigenous and Mexican-American cultures. Governor Susana Martinez of New Mexico spoke at the event along with the Mayor of Albuquerque Richard J. Berry. This was a "Big Deal" as the leaders of New Mexico told the over 5,000 people in the convention hall. The massive police protection at the event on December 8th showed how much New Mexico cared about hosting this national event.

Here are the results of the race.

The Jamaican hopes to return to the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships on December 14, 2013 when it will be held in San Antonio, TX. 2013 will be his last year as a Sub-bantum. In 2014 he moves to Bantum.

Daniel will start preparing to qualify for the July 22 -- 28 2013 USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships in Greensboro, NC after January 1, 2013.

For both meets we will rely on donations and fund raisers to pay his way to these national meets.

Crime: You are asking to be robbed!

I bet that most of you lock your doors when you are not at home. Some of you buy security protection so that a break in can be detected at your home and the police is automatically notified. So you think you are protected from robberies?
Would you lose your bank account numbers, social security number, and your other private information on the telephone pole down the street? Would you make public your income tax forms by placing it on the internet? I bet you would not do that intentionally but many of you have done just that.
You think that organized crime does nothing but sell drugs, get involved in prostitution, or smuggle illegal things in and out of the country. You have to get out of the 19th and early 20th century in your thinking.  You no longer live in your local community. You no longer can view your community as your neighborhood, your city, town, or village. Being of the computer age, your community is the world. Unfortunately, a world community comes with world crime organizations.
Do you know that you are now likely to be robbed by someone in Asia, Europe, or Africa? The FBI or other law enforcement agencies cannot go after these criminals because the US does not have treaties with the countries where they hide. You can be like the citizens of Georgia and file your state income taxes. Because the state of Georgia did not have a security scan phase as part of their Application Development Life Cycle, most of the state’s taxpayers had their banking, social security numbers, addresses, and other personal information stolen by criminals living in Europe. This could lead to thousands having identity theft problems.  A security check of the computer systems in the state of Utah also showed a high security risk to its taxpayers. What you can do here is contact your state representatives and demand that they make security scans part of their Application Development Life Cycle. This would be a long way to protecting your personal information from theft.

My daughter loves these new phones that come out every year. She is always the first person to buy one. Someone offered to give me a new phone because they were up grading. I refused and they could not figure out why. What most people do not know is that your phone is now a minicomputer that has to be programed. Just like criminals can place hidden codes inside government computers, they can do the same thing with your cell phone.  You contact your bank using the latest cell phone apps  you are giving control of your banking transactions to unknown parties. These parties can copy your banking information and take over your banking identity. You do not have to have a banking app for you to be robbed by using your cell phone. Just by using apps that have not been taken through an Application Life Cycle with a security phase in it can cost you, the customer, serious money.
I bought something off the internet using my credit card. Somewhere along the transaction path, someone from China got my credit card number. I have very sophisticated security checks on all my banking products. The banks can tell where I am just by tracking my transactions. The bank called me as soon as they saw that I bought a plane ticket in Northern China. Since I was in Harrisburg, Pa. they knew it was not me and canceled by ticket and my bank card. But most people can’t afford to buy such security protect like I have.  So what you must do is use bank cards and other services that have free theft protection services. You have to make this a priority when purchasing products that use the internet.
To show you how serious this problem is, IBM Corporation employs 14,000 people worldwide that look at making the use of the internet a priority. Even today, many companies do not do that.
Criminals can use your local online newspaper to get your personal information. For example, CNN uses space on their pages to sell to advertisers. These advertisers use a third party to put the ads on the page. These third parties are a target for these online criminals. They place a code in these ads. You click on the ads and unknown to you, criminal code is downloaded to your computer. That code steals your personal information and through the internet, sends it to the criminals. You know nothing about it. The same with these internet games that you play. You play and they steal your information.

Learning about the Gullah/Geechee Nation

The Gullah/Geechee People of Georgia

When I was three years old, my parents built a house with their own hands in the Suburbs of Pittsburgh. The municipality was called West Mifflin. The controlling White class divided West Mifflin into areas where people could live based on who they are and what ethnic group they belong to. Segregation was the name of the day. Black people could buy land and live in houses in a place called the Terrace. Blacks that could not afford to buy houses lived in a part of West Mifflin called Whitaker. Blacks in West Mifflin came from all over eastern United States. Some were full blooded Native Americans. Some were a mixture of Native Americans and Africans. Yet others were direct descendants of African people.
We went to school along with the Whites whose roots came from Eastern European Countries.  In school, we learned about how the United States came to be. We learned about the Roman Empire, early Europe, the dark ages, and some of the European Wars. When it came to American History, we learned the White man’s view of things.  Black people only counted when it came to the Civil War. Even then, we did not fight in it. They, the Northern Whites fought the war to help us out.  Yes, they mentioned two or three Black people in the 19th Century that they believe were outstanding. So Black people graduated from the West Mifflin School District with a blank look on their faces, like we just appeared on Earth recently with no history.
But Black history in America was right in front of our faces and did not know it. My mother would talk about some of our neighbor calling them Geechee people. I thought that she was calling them names. It was only after I started learning about the different Black ethnic groups in America did I learn that some of my girlfriends that I still have dear feelings for were Geechee women. They are direct descendants of many Western African nations, captured and sold into slavery. After they came to America speaking different languages, they developed their own language so that they can communicate with one another.

The Gullah Geechee people came to America as slaves, who live in the Lowcountry region of South Carolina and Georgia, which includes both the coastal plain and the Sea Islands.

Historically, the Gullah region extended from the Cape Fear area on the coast of North Carolina south to the vicinity of Jacksonville on the coast of Florida; but today the Gullah area is confined to the South Carolina and Georgia Lowcountry. The Gullah people and their language are also called Geechee, which some scholars speculate is related to the Ogeechee River near Savannah, Georgia. The term "Geechee" is an emic term used by speakers (and can have a derogatory connotation depending on usage). "Gullah" is a term that was originally used to designate the language spoken by Gullah and Geechee people, but over time it has become a way for speakers to formally identify both their language and themselves as a distinctive group of people. The Georgia communities further identify themselves as either "Saltwater Geechee" or "Freshwater Geechee" depending on their proximity to the coast.

The Gullah have preserved much of their African linguistic and cultural heritage. They speak an English-based creole language containing many African loanwords and significant influences from African languages in grammar and sentence structure. Properly referred to as "Sea Island Creole," the Gullah language is related to Jamaican Creole, Barbadian Dialect, Bahamian Dialect, and the Krio language of Sierra Leone in West Africa. Gullah storytelling, cuisine, music, folk beliefs, crafts, farming and fishing traditions, all exhibit strong influences from West and Central African cultures.
