West Shore Patriot News Sports reporter asking questions about Daniel

No matter where Daniel goes to run, he always becomes the darling of the meet. Daniel Tulloch supporter Kathy Derr was standing watching the race as Daniel passed by.
Daniel as he was running the race.

She was screaming at him to get moving as Daniel prepared to run up the hill outside the town with about one and a half miles to finish the race.  An elderly couple on the route told Kathy that the little boy with the Jamaican uniform has something special in him.

This is the route that the race took in and out of Lewisberry, Pa.

Daniel ran a 25 Minutes 26.74 second 5k race. Daniel’s age
group in this race was 1 to 14 years of age. He came in
third. Last year at age 6, he ran a 31 minute race.

We still have a problem with him sightseeing while
running. He has a tendency to run with people instead
of passing people up. This habit will have to be
broken before the USA Cross Country Season starts and
his chance to run at Nationals, December 8, 2012 at
Balloon Fiesta Park, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Daniel starts his quest to go to nationals on Saturday
November 3, 2012 at the 2012 USATF Mid-Atlantic
Association Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships
at Belmont Plateau – Philadelphia, PA.

Daniel has the months of September and October to run
exhibition meets. His next race will be at the Sasquatch
Preservation Trail Run in Mount Wolf, Pa. on Saturday
Sept. 15, 2012
