Daniel Tulloch's Winter Indoor Track Meet Schedule

This is Daniel's first national trophy. He is the youngest out of a small group of people to receive this national trophy. This honor was given to such people as Hyleas Fountain, Staphanie (Williams) Tulloch, and Jennifer Harris.

We do not believe in giving Daniel an award just for showing up. Part of learning is to learn how to live with disappointment and failure. It is about learning what to do and how to do it so that he can achieve success. Failure is not permanent and success does not last forever. This is what separates a successful person in life and a failure.

Daniel started track and field;

• Age 4, learning how to run and getting in shape.
• Age 5, had his first indoor track meet in New Jersey. He started learning how to compete.
• Age 6, Daniel learned how to pay attention and what it is like to run Cross Country.
• Age 7, Daniel learned how to compete nationwide.

Now we are going into competing as an 8 year old. The USATF 2K Cross Country Series is behind us. It is time to focus on the UAGTCA Indoor Track Meets. Daniel will use these meets to stay in shape for the May 2013 UAGTCA Outdoor Meets in Philadelphia which will set the stage for his entry into USATF Outdoor Meets in June 2013. He hopes to go all the way this year to qualify for the USATF National Meet the week of July 22-28, 2013 in Greensboro, NC.

Daniel's Goals for 2013

• Make personal best time for 1500 Meter Run 5 Minutes, 38.49 Seconds

• Make personal best time for 800 Meter Run 2 Minutes, 47.49 Seconds
• Qualify for USATF Nationals in July 2013
• Make personal best time for 2K 7 Minutes, 30 Seconds 
• Qualify for USATF XC Nationals in Dec. 2013 
• Win the USATF XC Nationals in Dec. 2013.

Daniel needs the financial help of his supporter if he is to continue to travel to national events.

This is what Daniel gave supporters that donated or sold more that $50.00 in candy toward his 2012 travel expenses to Albuquerque, New Mexico. People who gave or sold more than $100.00 received a shirt from that event.

People will receive the same gift with $50 or more at the Summer Outdoor National or the Fall XC National event this year in San Antonio, Texas on December 14, 2013. If supporters gives $100 or more, Daniel will give a gift of a shirt from that national event.
