The Two Sub-Bantam 2KM (1.24 Miles) Gold Medal Winners for the 2012 USATF Mid-Atlantic Association Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships on Saturday Nov. 3, 2012 at Belmont Plateau, Philadelphia, Pa.
The Flash qualified for the USATF Region 2 Championships that will be held in Black Creek Park, North Chili, NY, a suburb of Rochester on Sunday November 18, 2012.
He ran the 2K(1.24 Miles) in 10 Minutes, 14.06 seconds. This means that Daniel ran 7.34 Miles per Hour in the race. He will have to run faster than this if he plans to win the Region 2 race in North Chili, New York.

Daniel's race started on a flat plain then down and up a small hill. He ran across another plain then turned left and climbed up a long steep hill before turning left and running down a long gradual grade. He finished the last half mile by running down and up a small hill and finishing on the second plain.
Daniel will represent the Mid-Atlantic Association that covers Eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. He will run against 3 other associations. The New Jersey Association covers all of New Jersey. He will run against children from the Three Rivers Association ( Western and Northern Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and Northern West Virginia) and the Niagara Association (West Up State New York).
